Has anybody here seen "Lord of the Flies"?
Last night I saw the 1990 version of the movie. Wow! Pretty wild what happened in that island. The ending of the movie left me wanting to see more though!

I just found out that there is a 1963 version and some say that version is a little better... although everyone says the book is better and it makes me want to read the book.

What are your thoughts on this movie? scratchead

I had read the book when I was younger and then re-read it recently. "Piggy" and "Ralph." It was kinda hard for me to follow, though. I would like to see the movie version, though!

I read it in high school and still tell everyone how much I hated it. With the garbage they expect kids to read in school, is it any wonder so many of them hate reading?

I saw the 1963 version. I've never read the book, but I'd like to sometime.

I read it last year in English class, and saw the 1963 version of the movie. Wasn't the worst book I've read, but wasn't the best either. Definitley interesting.
