LOST

Any LOST fans out there? They finally started back up again last night and WOW, was it an intense pemiere!! Such an awesome show and I'm hooked already! We bought season 3 on dvd, so I was able to go through and prepare for the season premiere. I like that they're starting to show 'flash-forwards' instead of flash-backs now...keeps the show from becoming stagnant. Can't wait for next week!! Thumbsup

Amy, I watched the first few episodes of Lost during the first season. Then for some reason I missed a couple weeks and never watched it again. I guess I figured I'd never be able to catch up with the plot. That weird animal they used to show flashes of... did they ever say what it was?

It's been a long time since I've seen season 1, but I think you mean the polar bear? LOL! Or it could be the wild boar. Not sure. There's now 'evil' black smoke that can kill people too. Whistle

Jacob & Rob, I want to say that you could still get into this show if you wanted to pick it up. It IS a show that rewards continual viewing...only avid watchers will be able to pick up on some of the clues, but you can still 'get it' if you pick up now. Up until this season, they've shown 'flashbacks' of the survivors lives. Now this season they are doing 'flash-forwards'...you're seeing what will happen to the people who actually get off the island. The island has some kind of 'hold' over everyone and the ones who left now know that they need to go BACK, otherwise their lives will be miserable elsewhere. It's definitely interesting!

I stopped watching when they kept focusing on the "Others" and started killing off a bunch of the original characters. Blue

I know what you mean Beckie...when they originally focused on "The Others" I had a hard time focusing on it, even my hubby had a hard time with it and he is a die-hard fan. But then it picked up again, big-time. I'm actually enjoying it more now than ever before! But I can imagine they lost a lot of viewers with the first introduction of The Others and the changing focus of the show. The actors are just SO good...I think they make it all just very believeable. Ahem, even the 'tropical polar bears'! GreenSmile

Yeah I read that the others is what did the show in, plus all the repeats they kept showing. I wish they would kill off Jack or Kate, lol. I like them, but why not really shock audiences, lol.

I love LOST!!! I agree with you, Amy, about Sawyer. This season has been the most confusing of them all and I can't wait for the new episodes end of this month.
