| Is anyone going to watch Pirate Master next Thurs.? I can't wait. I have no clue what it's going to be about. The people are all interesting looking! Let's see if Mark Burnett churns out another phenominon! Or if it's going to be a flop. I keep wondering if he is going to try and replace Survivor with this show. Yeah really. It seems like everything is Pirates now. My little cousin loves them. We bought him a box of POTC cereal and his dog got to it and ate the whole box!

| Well I watched Pirate Master. It was pretty good. Not as exciting as Survivor, but still pretty interesting. The people on it are really unique. And the host..... very SEXY. He has a hot Australian accent. But of course in my heart no man can compare to Matt, lol.

| I taped it and have watched most of it. They just gathered the three black-marked pirates on deck, so I don't know who's been "cut adrift" yet.
Hey Beckie, there's one thing I'm not clear about. Did they combine the black and red crews into one team? |

| The host said there will be no more black and red at one point. But I am thinking that maybe just for that moment it was like that. Maybe they split them each epi to compete then put them together again. I have no clue though. It's exciting because it's a new show and you don't know what's next!

| They cancelled Pirate Master. You can only watch the final eps on cbs.com. At leas I have that. It was really stupid of them to end it right in the middle of the season. It was really starting to get good. It's not fair for those who worked on this show and for the contestants to put their lives on hold, just for it to be cancelled.
On a really sad note, one of the female contestants supposedly passed away. She was young and seemed prety healthy. I have no idea how that happened.

Beckie, here's what Wikipedia says:
"Contestant Cheryl Kosewicz, the fourth person to leave the game, was found dead inside her home on July 27, 2007. The cause of death is currently unknown, but is believed to be a suicide."
Wow. Just two days ago. That's very sad.
I'm sorry to hear the show was cancelled. I still have all the episodes on tape, but now I guess I'll have to go to cbs.com to see how it all ends. |
