I was wondering...is this a condensed version of "Survivor" or the full thing? I think I heard there were ten members on each team, so will there be as many episodes as a regular season?

Oh, that makes a difference! I was trying to figure out how it could have been so long, because the first year that it was on, an online friend of mine in Canada asked if I'd help her get a Survivor t-shirt. They'd only ship to the US at the time.

I can't believe that they asked "Johnny Fair Play" to join the cast again!! What a dork he was the first time around. Do you remember how he lied about his grandmother dying so that people would feel sorry for him? It should be interesting.

Oh good grief...that whole thing with Johnny Fairplay was just ridiculous. Goodbye, good riddens buddy! Wave I was happy to see the 'fans' win the battle...I'll be rooting for them! And Rob, did you know that Erik is from Pinckney, MI? He was on the news last night, but I went to bed...darn it!! He goes to Eastern Michigan University. How cool! Last season was Frosti from Traverse City, now we have Erik! Thumbsup

And puhlease vote off Parvarti, puhlease!!!!! Oh, I just can not TAKE her and her flirting!! Frying pan I know she's just playing 'her game', but it makes me and it really makes me that James is totally falling for it. ARGH!! Sorry, but I just find all this 'island romance' (or shall we say LUST) totally pathetic.

All that said...well, I'll be watching! Whistle I'm a true Survivor fan---I guess getting ticked off with half the players is part (or most!) of the fun! GreenSmile

I enjoyed it last night too, Amy. And yes, Parvarti is sooooooooooo annoying! When I was on the board last night, Rob was too, and I pm'd him, asking if he watched Survivor. He taped it and will be watching tonight, so he won't check this thread until later.

I am kinda dissappointed that Jon left first only because he is such a character. An idiot freak, but very entertaining to watch, lol. I wanted Eliza off first. She isn't the best player and I don't know why half of these people were picked to be the faves. When she walked out no one hardly clapped and they looked at her like, who is that? Jonathan was a total boob on his Survivor. The only ones that were great Survivors were, Cirie, Yau Man, and Ozzy. James was strong but I don't like him. The others are pretty forgettable. I do really like Ami though, she is cool, but not any type of all-star. I wish Ian (Pulau), Brandon (Guatamala), and Yul (Cook Islands) were on. Ian and Yul were asked if they wanted to be on but declined. Ian now lives is NYC, not here anymore Blue , and started his own production company. Wish my hometown guy luck! GreenSmile Back on 05 I bumped into him at a club, lol.

This time I have Mary (the fake boob looking girl, lol) in the Survivor pool. I don't think she will last long. I am rooting for Cirie, Ozzy or Yau man. So far no faves on the Fans tribe.

I am sooooo glad the fans won the first challenge. That Cathy lady sure is a wierdo, lol. And Chet once live around here. Joel is the ugliest thing I have ever seen, lol. He does look like the Hulk.

Oh and Survivor is going to be extented to season 20, 18 at the most.
