I agree with that!

I remember when I was in high school and the cheerleaders and field hockey team would do an '80s theme' for spirit on game days. But if you looked at photographs and movies that were set in the 1980s, the way those girls at my school dressed for spirit was nothing like what women actually wore in those years.

If you were cool, maybe you had one of these newfangled gadgets:

Your younger siblings might have been bouncing around on their Hoppity Hops too.

I remember bouncing on my Hoppity Hop when I was seven. It was yellow, and I think it had a horse head. Man, that thing could bounce.

*sigh*....loved my tape recorder!  For me, that came around closer to 1979.  Before that I was listening to storybook albums on my Fisher Price record player....which to me, was very cool at the time. HeeHee

I had a hoppity hop!  Cheryl, I am certain had we been neighbors, we would have been friends and hoppity hopping around together! Wink

I had that record player, too, Amy. Maybe it's good we weren't neighbors. Think of all the trouble we could have caused. grinsmiley

Well, here is news for people. I still have a tape player. In fact, I have a record player. I own too much music (that is hard to find in other places) that I cannot not have those things.

And guess what? I don't own an Ipod. And I don't care! Smile Ah, me and my old-fashioned self. I am perfectly satisfied being that way until I have no other choice. Smile
