I was watching an episode of Grey's Anatomy and was so surprised to see Bonnie Bartlett, aka Grace Snyder! The last I'd seen her in anything was Home Improvement and she's aged a lot since then. I knew I 'knew' her and then figured it out after listening to her voice. And I see she just did an episode of Parks and Recreation just this year, at 84 years old!
Just thought I'd share. Here's her IMDB page if anyone is interested:

People tend to do that in their eighties.........................

I just saw her in Golden Girls, playing a snobby friend of Dorothy. : )
I hope that although she was in a lot of things, she doesn't mind if people hold a special place for her LHOP role. I try to understand when an actor moves on, how aggravated some become (and some wont discuss) a past character, but they should understand, the reason for that, is they were loved by the fans.

I think at least most of the older actors of LH didn't mind how associated with Little House they were. I know Kevin Hagen throroughly embraced it---I emailed with him for awhile and he told me how happy he was that people still loved the show and still even 'cared' about him after all those years. And I know Dabbs Greer was pleased to be associated with Little House. In Bonnie's case, wow, I didn't realize how vast her career was---I didn't know she was in St. Elsewhere---I never watched that show, which is surprising since I enjoyed ER and Grey's Anatomy. Neat that she and her hubby both won an Emmy on that show. SO sad though that they lost their baby after only 24hours. How devastating. Neat that they adopted after.

In the process of doing profiles on the this board for the guest star sticky, I had the wonderful opportunity to talk to many of them. The vast majority are wonderful people that will talk about Little House when asked. The common thread was Michael Landon and their admiration for him.
