Accidentally leaned up against a friends aluminum swimming pool and bent it beyond repair. It was full of water at the time, and her dad was standing there at the time. It was only 3 ft. deep. (To add to the embarassment, I was in my 20's.)

I tried once for a stray cat, the poor baby got ran over by a car, I took her to the vet and she was there for 3 days, I visited her everyday. The doctor convinced me to put her down because she was in too much pain. I was so devastated that I paid for a private cremation and still have her ashes in a flower tin I bought, it's sitting on my shelf.

Adopted a stray dog.

When we were kids, we adopted a poodle that had been mistreated. She had a very good life with us.
