PostSubject: cold!   cold! EmptyWed Mar 19, 2008 8:01 pm

I knew my luck was going to run out, having gone without a cold since mid-October. On Friday, what seeming felt like seasonal, springtime allergies starting up tricked me and turned into a full-fledged cold yesterday. Darn these germs! LOL. What really annoys me is the people at my office, who can't seem to cover their mouths/noses or wash their hands after coughing and sneezing, and get the rest of us sick. So far, I made it to work today (and covered my mouth and nose as well as slathered on hand sanitizer all day), and I don't have work tomorrow, (but classes all day), so I'm hoping I can kick this thing before Easter. I've been trying to go without going to doctor's or using a lot of cold meds, but tonight I gave in and took some generic cold medicine I had around the house, just to help clear my head! LOL. Sick2

Feel better soon, Christina. Rest, rest, rest.....is the best medicine.

I sure hope you feel better soon. It drives me crazy to see grown adults who don't cover their coughs and sneezes. We taught my niece and nephews to cover their coughs and sneezes with the crook of their arm (where your elbow curves) rather than their hand. That way, they don't continue to spread germs with their hands, even when they've covered their coughs. You half expect to see children forgetting - but adults??

Rest, hot tea, and a good book. Prescription from Dr. Savannah. Wink
