This morning, among the grand old maple trees along the oldest street in town, I saw the first traces of autumn color. It happens early up here. Wave

Maples are so beautiful when their autumn colors are at peak! There's something amazingly beautiful about each season. I'm not quite ready for Autumn yet. . . . But, ready or not - it'll come. grinsmiley

So far, the whole month of August has been a nice weather this year...at least in my area. Normally, August is hot and humid.

The same thing here Lily. It's been high 70's and low 80's for the past few weeks now. Very Strange...

We won't see any sign of the next season for a while now. Its still summer here and you can tell it is. Its been warmer here then we like and a bit humid for So. Cali. Summer we have had a few heat waves but nothing like usual I think. It really hasn't been to bad at all this year. Makes me wonder what it will be like for winter for us then.

We in Toronto know when the summer is about to end because the Canadian National Exhibition begins about 3 weeks before the kids start back to school. The CNE is a huge fair that spreads for miles in the centre of downtown Toronto.

There is a tree on the corner of my street that is already turning. I am not ready for fall yet at all and I plan to take a can of green spray paint down the street to color all of the leaves green again, lol.

Well, since we have a pool now, I'm not as ready for Fall as I usually am. But once Fall comes, I can fire up my wood cook stove and as y'all already know- I love to play with fire! :tapdance:
