Employment

Subject: Employment Sat Nov 29, 2008 10:22 am

One of my daycare families was laid off work on Wednesday (pretty rotten right before Thanksgiving, huh? Blue

). Of course, I am worried for us, considering this is $500 per month just gone, but I am more worried for them. They are a great family and were already struggling. He is hoping to get full-time work with another company he works part-time for, so I am praying for that. If that works out they will be able to keep me. It's not just financial for me either...their little girl means the world to me and this will be devastating not only to me, but to her and the rest of the daycare as well...they all adore each other. Please pray that his second job becomes full-time or that he will get hired somewhere else. I am hoping and praying for more daycare calls myself. The trickle down effect is just horrible in this economy right now...

I will be praying Amy......There are all kinds of factories here laying people off left and right......It is a sad, sad time for America right now......

...and that's what he does...he makes seats for cars. This other job will be a trucking job, if it goes full time. Man, I hope it does. I am so freaking out right now.

Prayers for your family and your daycare family as well. It's a very hard time to be looking for a job right now; I will pray that this second one becomes full-time for him. What rut the economy is in

I will be praying for their family. Hopefully things will get better during the coming year.

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.
