Hi everyone! So this is a blast from the past, huh? I was reading CNN's top headlines and saw that Michael Landon's oldest son died and it reminded me of this board. I'm so sad to say I totally forgot about this board but college can do that to you haha. But when I saw this news article it reminded me of my favorite message board for my favorite show. I really missed you guys and talking all about LHOTP. I'm really going to try to be an active member again!

Anyway, this news is just so sad. Michael Landon's oldest son Mark Landon, 60, was found dead in his West Hollywood home. No foul play is suspected.

Does that sound right that he would be 60 years old? I mean, if Michael Landon were still alive he would be 74, so was there only a fourteen year difference in their ages? I wonder how old he was when Michael Landon adopted him.

They must have his age wrong. imdb.com says he was born in October 1, 1958, so he turned 50 this past October. Hopefully, the media will realize the mistake and take care of it.

That's what I was thinking...I wish there was a way to let them know so they can correct it. I can't believe ML has been gone since 1991.....

Well, while doing further searching, one site, yes, imdb.com has two articles....one says he was 60 years old and when you scroll down to read the other article, it says he was 50 years old........:think: It also said Michael and Mark's mom were married in 1956, and if that is the case, then Mark would've been around before 1958......

This is sad news. I think Oct.1, 1948 is Mark's correct DOB. If Michael and Mark's mom married in 1956, that would have been 53 years ago meaning Michael was 21 at the time. If the wedding was before October, Mark would have been 7 at the time of the marriage which would explain the 14 year age difference.

It was said there was no cause of death listed.

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.
