Actors and Facebook

I have recently gone to the Facebook pages of those that have acted on Little House and other shows. For the most I have been received quiet nicely. I either was accepted or just joined a Fan page. My most recent request was that of Erin Cottrell. (Disney's LH, Ma / Missie LaHaye -Love Comes Softly Series)
She was so kind as to respond in a message to say she saves a personal page for family and friends, but could I please join her fan page. SHe thanked me for following her and promised to keep an updated page on what she is doing. NOW I know she might even have someone doing this for her, but still I thought it was humbly done. Its nice to see that actors know that without fans it would be a dull business.
I hope that she continues to grow and do well, but always remembers us little folks.

I'll never forget when I got an email from Kevin Hagen many years ago---it was shortly after I came to the forum, around 99 or 2000 I'd say. He sent me a beautiful message, and even wanted my address to send pics to the boys and I. I was on for days!!

I've got a couple messages from Alison Arngrim. She does a lot of acting in France now I guess. She only sent the messages because of the funny replies I made in her threads, but she was nice, so it was cool with me. A good sense of humor can open a lot of doors sometimes.

But that's great Gin! It's nice to find a friendly celebrity now and then who hasn't let it go to their head.

I joined a buch of hockey players pages too. I love my hockey players! I don't know if any of them have regular facebook pages. If they do they either don't add fans or they have a billion friends on their list.

I am surprised Matt sent you a reply over there. He usually doesn't talk to fans. I used to be friends with this one psycho guy who sent him nasty message because Matt did not reply to him. What a jerk, my old friend not Matt. I had to block they guy because he kept harrassing me too.

Matt sent me a message a few days ago. I had sent him one just thanking him for all his hard work and telling him that Little House was one of the best things about my childhood. He sent one back telling me thank-you for all the kinds thoughts. It is so kind of these actors to reply. That's another reason we think so highly of them.

Well that was nice of him. It's good to see him branching out and talking to fans now.
