I put in disc four of season one yesterday, and found twin fife-ables for our dear Fife.

When I saw that, I thought of you right away. I was pretty sure that this would be your initial expression:

Isn't the company that released these from France? They probably lost something in the translation.

I don't know....I tend to agree with Gin. They had it spelled right out for them at the opening of the episode, it's spelled correctly in the episode guide booklet....all they had to do was look at either one and copy. And even if the episode guide was written later - the opening of the episode was available. I'm wondering how it could have gotten lost in translation, too, because any French/English dictionary would give the occupational spelling rather than the surname. Ah well....it's funny anyway.

Aren't some of the episode descriptions also wrong? I haven't watched my DVDs in a while, but I seem to remember there were some errors.
