90 minutes in Heaven~ by Don Piper

I was at Nathan's last concert a few nights ago and as I was getting up to leave I noticed a small bag with this book in it. I looked around to see who it might belong to, but they were gone. I had no idea who had sat behind me. SO, I brought it home. I am half way through this book, its a real page turner. Have any of you read this?

I found this book Monday night and finished it last night, it was that good. Makes me wonder a bit WHY I found it, but glad i did. Mr. Piper now lives in Galveston about two hours from where I am now, so alot of the Houston area that he mentions is familiar. I think what I have gotten from reading this is just that we really need to accept God's NO better than we do. Mr. Piper mentions that he prayed so hard to go back to heaven because his recovery was so hard. He later had to see and accept that God had a plan in letting him experience all he had. Also, heaven is more than we can ever imagine and maybe by letting people experience just a glimpse we will strive harder to get there.

What Kind of Plant do you have that Pot Gin?

Well according to the card its called a Barbara Karst Bougainvillea. It blooms red and attracts hummingbirds. Haven't seen any of those yet but squirrels sure dig around in it. Pesky critters!
