I think you're right about that Beckie...I'm sure he was feeling the love. That added stress certainly could not have been good for his health though.

I just found a report that the news is not true and that he is still alive, but in serious condition. I don't know what to believe.

He has NOT died. Our local websites have been all over this since last night. JoePa is and always will be a legend, my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Not sure about the above post, but heard on the news the other day that the they ARE trying to figure a way to honor him, they KNOW he got caught up in this ordeal and that he did his part to report it and later was blamed for being a part.....I hope whatever they decide to do, they do it quickly, because he is not in good shape at all....

He has officially passed away, his family has confirmed it. RIP Joe

My mom heard on the news, that it wasn't true. I wouldn't believe it online. When they say a famous person dies. Unless it was on Action news or news website.

It has been confirmed, he has passed away......

He did die at 9:25 am yesterday morning, Buttercup. Here is a link to our local newspapers site. His funeral is on Wednesday.
