Every year at this time, a local ski lodge sponsors a downhill canoe and kayak race. This year the event drew no spectators and one competitor... but the guy did have the presence of mind to strap a camera to his helmet. Oh yeah, this is gonna end well.

Amy, to be honest, I never even knew that this was a thing. I'd heard of people going downhill in kayaks and canoes, but didn't know that it was a yearly deal.

That so looks like something my brothers and I would have done when we were kids. But we at least had the excuse of being kids! 
Has this had spectators and more competitors other years, Rob?
