Mysterious swaying plant

Someone on Reddit has this theory: "It's a palmetto palm that hasn't opened yet. It would catch the slightest breeze and because its weight is mostly in its head, especially if it isn't open yet, it tends to sway easily."

I dated a girl like that once. Things got ugly when the wind blew!
