Loud neighbour's

I certainly have! It is very frustrating when they are nice neighbors, except for when they are very noisy at the most inconvenient of times. for me, it was my former next-door neighbors and their dogs. The most popular times for these dogs to go out was 5am and 10pm, and they would bark and bark and bark, but my neighbors would never let them back inside or tell them to stop barking! which could get very frustrating, as I was usually in bed trying to sleep at those hours. It is difficult to know if something should be said to them about the noise they are making, because you don't want to have a bad relationship with your neighbors, because then they could become even worse, but they should be a bit more considerate of how loud they are being.

That must have been annoying. I understand how you must have felt. The other house has a dog. She loves to bark. But the people tell her to stop barking if she gets to much. Or they bring her in. Expect last year at a different house I guess they left the dog outside while they wen't out and it was barking and barking.So annoying.It got so annoying I wan't to yell out the window and say "Shut the heck up" LOL

I've had this problem with a couple of neighbors.  There were some across the street who would throw loud outdoor parties in the summer.  They were nice, though, and when I called, they would tone things down.

Then there was another neighbor whose teenage sons had a rock band.  They would practice VERY loudly in their garage.  I would let it go until about ten o'clock, at which point I'd call, and they'd stop.  Eventually they'd quit at ten without the call.

You might want to give your neighbors a call, Krissy.  Just tell them in a friendly way that you'd like things a little more peaceful.  Or maybe you or someone in your family could approach them during the daytime if you see them out in their yard, and just have a talk about the situation.

You really shouldn't have to live like that.

Wow! Boy that sounded bad and not fun to live with. Glad you got them to stop. Yeah I know should that may be something to do if it keeps up. They are kind of loud in the day time too with 2 little kids they have. But its expected of kids to be loud.:smileyHug2:They seem to drink with there friends. Nothing wrong with drinking. but too much drinking makes some ppl do stupid things.

 Sometimes people may not realize just how loud they're being.  When I was a teenager, I used to turn up the stereo full blast when I was alone.  It didn't occur to me at the time, but years later I realized just how annoying that thump-thump of the bass must have been to the neighbors.  If someone had called to let me know, I would have behaved.

We mostly live in a quiet neighborhood. Our two door down neighbors dogs bark, until their let in. I don't mind the barking. Since, I have a dog of my own. We tell her no barking. She does stop. We got neighbors who loves to do fireworks. They already starting. It's not 4th of July. They have done this in the pass. Not sure, why they start early?

are neighbor's are really nice but we used to have really noisy neighbor's and here are some tips that we did that may help.



DON'T do's.

Don't go over to ask them to stop when they are having there party that would be being a spoil sport and they are likely to just ignore you.

Don't go after the party if if they have been drinking as they are likely to have a hangover and a more likely to ignore you or get mad.

Don't go getting mad at them if they don't listen wait for a bit and go talk to them again if they carry on but stay friendly.

don't yell! BIG MISTAKE!!



DO'S

Start your talk by a friendly how are you? hows it going? having grumpy neighbor's is not nice and you don't want to be one of them!


Do let them know that you mean what your saying like are old neighbor's they will prob try to brush it off start talking about something else.


Do let them know that you aren't being a spoil sport say something along the lines of. "I don't mind you having party's of course in your own back yard but if you would mind just keeping the music down after lets say 11 Me and I'm sure others would be great full"


Do keep up a good relationship smile at them when you see them asking them how its going and so on.


Do If there party is getting out of hand and I mean really out of hand there is a number you can call and the police will come and sort them out but won't say who told them.

Nope. They had another loud party last weekend. They stayed up intill 2Am in the morning.

Another house behind us. had a loud party but it's not bad like having right under your window.

omg that's really bad have you even tried talking to them?

No! They don't even say hello or wave to you if your outside.Unlike this other nice neighbours do.

I think they have very bratty kids. All they ever do outside is whine and yell. They seem spoiled . They have so many toys outside. I can only think how many inside. But yet my cousins children were so much well behaved. Unless they were just on good behaviour,
