Bizarre ending to a high school football game. All the quarterback had to do was run out of bounds or drop to one knee, and his team would have won. He apparently forgot that the game doesn't end until the last play is completed. Poor kid.

I'm having a hard time getting it to load. The video says that it's 52:05 long - what part of the video should I be looking at when I get it to work?

Lisa, run it up to 46:30 and watch from that point on.

I set the video to start playing at 46:18. It does for me.

This may be one of the saddest things in football I've seen. I feel so sorry for this poor kid!!! How do you face your school after that?!?! He totally thought they'd just won and forgot what he needed to do. Oh man. You know, I've watched my share of football throughout the boys' high school and college marching band careers, and I swear I'll never understand half of these dumb rules!

Mimi, how's this for a game. Plano East was trailing 41-17 with less than three minutes to go...

I've never been very interested in football and I've never understood it, but I do feel bad for this kid. I agree with what Amy said, it must have been difficult to go to school for a while after that

"Clemson cheerleader catches ball in megaphone, should get points. One player should be allowed to bring a megaphone onto the field for catching purposes. Cheerleader No. 1 had the opportunity to make a play and couldn't. Cheerleader No. 2 is a star. South Carolina is 15-for-31 passing, so at least SOMEBODY'S reeling in the ball."

The Detroit Lions have a star receiver nicknamed Megatron. So South Carolina has Megaphone.
