Who here enjoys bowling? It is a sport I have just started taking up & enjoy very much.

I enjoy bowling, but I rarely ever go. My niece had a bowling birthday party a while back, and we all had a lot of fun with that.

I used to bowl. Fun sport! I haven't done it in a long time, though.

I like bowling, but I haven't played in a while. The alley closest to me, where I used to go several times a year, closed down without much notice, so I'm not sure where I would go now. But I do enjoy it.

It really is fun. My Mom & I have been going frequently lately. If I get good enough, it would be kind of neat to get into tournaments or something.

I like it, but there aren't a lot of candlepin alleys around here. I'm too feeble for ten pin.

It's been a challenge for me, but I feel great even being sore & all. I read somewhere that 3 games of bowling can be equivalent to a work out at the gym.

I *like* bowling, but I'm kind of terrible at it. My hubby & I used to be on a league with some friends, and let's just say my team loved my handicap. If you enjoy it that much, Julia, you should get on a league! We got a little tired of it...the leagues go on for months and months, but they really are fun.

Well, before or *if* I get on a league, I need to get better at it first. I have never really been in any sports that is like a competition. I was always too small & such to play the usual basketball, soccer, etc. growing up, plus, being homeschooled I really did not know where to go to be actually on a team. So, I've always gone towards the unique sports such as bowling, shooting, & archery.

Homeschooling does make it difficult to be in team sports sometimes. But being petite is actually advantageous in soccer. (Unless you're the goalie. ) Because there's so much running involved, it's rather like distance-running, where shorter people also often have the advantage. There are quite a few sports where being petite gives you the edge. Anyway - have fun bowling!

Hmmm! I never thought of it that way!

If anyone likes to bowl but can't get out to their favorite alley, here's a really fun alternative:
