Only TEN!

I'm constantly ordering things through my library system's inter-library loan. I love to read......I love borrowing Biography episodes from A&E......I LOVE my library!

We have a limit of 25 items that we can have on hold......until August 1st. . . . Then we'll be limited to TEN items. bawling

TEN!! I know that it all has to do with having too small a sorting staff, and budget cuts. (I didn't vote to give our Governor a second term..........but I won't take y'all down that ugly road...) But only ten holds..... *breathe in...........breathe out*

I know . . . . I know..........There are many more important things in life than this - and I'll recover. *dramatic sigh* But I'm going to miss those extra 15 holds............

Did it ever occur to you Savannah, that maybe you're the reason why they reduced it down to 10 books??? You were leaving empty shelves for other customers. ROTFL

Aww so sorry Savannah! You're lucky - around here we can only put a few books on hold at a time.

I wish that I could remember what movie/tv show it was........but several years ago, there was a movie where there was a little old lady-librarian. She was looking out the window, and saw a man step off the bus coming in to town. She gasped, and grabbed a log book - whipping it open, and quickly flipped through the pages. She said "AHA! I knew it! He still hasn't returned that book after fifteen years!!". Then she went tearing out of the library to chase him down.

Larry........you just better hope she isn't YOUR librarian. :Hahaha:
