From the Emerald Isle itself, I want to wish all my dear friends at the Praire a very happy St Patrick's Day. We're set to party and have fun here. I just wish I could share it all with you.
Slainte!

Happy Saint Patricks day to you as well....
The city next door to me had what they call their "Pub Crawl" on Saturday....it all started with a St. Patty parade and then people partied into the night......My oldest boy and his band were playing at one of the bars......Not sure how it all turned out, I was home packing boxes....

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We celebrated with a parade/bar crawl of our own here Saturday, and tomorrow I'm cooking a corned beef and cabbage dinner. Never actually cooked it on my own before - we'll see how it turns out

Oh, my hubby would love it if I were to make that Christina! Hope it turns out great for you!
Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day Maureen, and everyone! I plan to watch the movie "Far and Away" in honor of the holiday at some point tomorrow---one of my favorites!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, all! I posted this last year as a "St. Patrick's Day gift" for the board, and thought it would be a nice tradition to continue. So without further ado, *sniff* , I hope you enjoy this moving video.....

Touching. Anyone on the board with any Irish blood is no doubt feeling a certain twinge inside right now. Hopefully it'll pass before too long.

Maybe this version will make that twinge go away, Maureen. I don't mean to steal the Muppets' thunder, but this is a Welsh trio I just found on YouTube, and they sound amazing.

Much better, Rob.
And to all my friends here, this is An Irish Blessing as sung by The Priests - my own Parish Priest Fr Martin is on the right.
