My heart is breaking right now. 'The Partridge Family' was one of my all-time favorite shows. This just in from TMZ:
The youngest "Partridge Family" star Suzanne Crough died Monday at her home in Nevada ... TMZ has learned. Crough starred as the tambourine-shaking daughter Tracy Partridge ... during the classic sitcom's run from 1970 to 1974. She was 52 years old. It's still unclear what caused her death, but a family member confirmed Suzanne's passing and said it was sudden. Suzanne was married with 2 daughters ... one of whom is getting married this summer. She last reunited with her 'Partridge' co-stars for an appearance on the 'Today' show back in 2010.

Very sweet scene between Suzanne Crough and David Cassidy here. My favorite Partridge performance.

Saw this today...
Suzanne Crough, the "Partridge Family" star who died in April at age 52, succumbed to a heart aliment, the Clark County, Nevada, coroner told TheWrap on Wednesday.
According to the coroner, Crough's cause of death was arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, a rare form of cardiomyopathy. The condition occurs when the heart muscle of the right ventricle is replaced by fat and/or fibrous tissue, causing the right ventricle to dilate and contract poorly, usually resulting in a weakened ability of the heart to pump blood. Patients with the condition often have abnormal heart rhythms, causing increased risk of sudden cardiac arrest or death.
The cause of the ailment is unknown, though it often runs in families. About 1 in 5,000 people have the condition.
Crough's cause of death was deemed natural.
