Hello, feelin' a touch of newbie-ness

Hi everybody !         Thanks for allowing me to be a part of a special place. I have generally a same story as most.  Grew up as a kid watching the series when it first aired at night.   Watched Little House....then went right off to bed. hehe   Then I purchased  each season one at a time, as they came out.  Furthermore, recently after being in the hospital in Mid March...having 2 weeks off work to recuperate....I watched the series for a 3rd time.  That still wasn't enough.  So I was watching various related clips on youtube.   I was happy to learn the first 5 seasons were out on Blu-ray.  Yippie !  Just watched the first season...blew me away...the quality is superb !

 I'm like most people here.  Fond of an earlier time when principals, family values, faith, and love were cherished....and still believe in all that a 100%.  I just wish that when I was young back then, that I realized how special that time was.....only to appreciate these things when you look back and compare it to today's society.
But I am reminded from time to time....that there are those who still believe in this kinda of upbringing.  And lastly,  this forum was a nice surprise to see.  I'm not a huge talker. I'll be checking in from time to time and make an effort to contribute in some way.  Thank you for your time, and enjoy each day.

And yes, the quality on the new remastered DVDs and Blu-ray is amazing! I can't wait for all of the seasons to be released that way. Just last night I watched one from season 7, and after watching only the remastered ones for a long time, wow, I could really tell the difference with both the picture quality and sound quality!
