Thank you, Laura! It was a wonderful visit. I went up to visit my aunt, and we went to Point Betsie Lighthouse, and climbed to the top! (Inside, of course. ) It was a spectacular view! Then there's a place called Lookout Point that's about 20 minutes south of the lighthouse, and you can climb six sets of stairs to get to a spot where you can see for absolutely miles and miles. I was looking at the view from there, and I was just awestruck by the beauty that God created!

Laura, I wanted SO badly to go on the lookout deck outside the lighthouse! The man running the tour would have let me, too - but he couldn't because of liability issues. Drat! I still got some pretty good shots from inside the lookout of the lighthouse.

I had to climb some narrow, winding stairs to get to the lookout, and there was a small door (like two feet tall) that I'd have climbed out to get to the observation deck. I don't mind heights most of the time. And thanks for the video! That must have been quite an experience!
