Daredevil

Yesterday a guy named Luke Aikins jumped from 25,000 feet without a parachute... hoping to land in a net.  Here's the link:

#2~Is that net, the one as small as a postage stamp from space going to be strong enough to catch him?   And,
#3~They have a name for that...........STUPID!

As someone who's terrified of heights, stuff like this holds a morbid fascination for me. It was the same with Felix Baumgartner parachuting from 24 miles up a few years ago, and Nik Wallenda tightrope-walking a quarter of a mile across the Grand Canyon. So as I watched this I was alternating between "This is stupid!" and "This is amazing!"

I don't for a second understand how you can jump from almost five miles up and land in a 100x100-foot net. Does someone really have that much control over where they land when they jump? I dunno.

Did anyone catch where the jump took place?

I don't know exactly how close it was to where Little House was filmed, but it is the same movie ranch.
