| Everyone please write to Melissa Gilbert and the CW. I think Melissa should guest star with Shannen on 90210. Word has it, the two are not on best of terms, but I think this might boost ratings and help Melissa's career by proving she's professional enough to put her personal feelings aside. At the moment Brenda is not being used, but as I think someone on here suggested, they should write a storyline where Melissa plays a movie producer who hires Brenda as a casting director, who in turn, recommends Adrianna for a role in the movie. At least I think this would make for an interesting storyline. |

| I think Melissa has been as kind as she can be with Shannen. If you haven't read Melissa's book, you need to. She tells all in it. Shannen's roll on 90210 is very fitting for her...it comes easy because it seems to be who she is..my opinion. To bad she couldn't stay that nice little Jenny. I think you mean "annoying" little Jenny. LOL, j/k (well, she was annoying ) but I know what you mean Gin. She certainly has had her issues with people over the years. I haven't gotten to the "Shannen" part in MG's book....I really just need to put in a good couple of afternoons with it---I know it'll be a quick read! “Not all of us can do great things. | Just knowing what Shannen did all those years ago, I couldn't imagine Melissa ever wanting to work with her again, nor do I think they should. That would be VERY awkward, to say the least. What Shannen did..................that was almost unforgivable. She's just not a very nice person................and that's putting it "nicely."
I think it would be difficult for Melissa to put "personal feelings" aside. I know that it would be for me. I don't think Melissa takes infidelity lightly.

| Well I guess I wasn't completely serious. I certainly wouldn't expect Melissa to work with her again either. Maybe I was just saying that to try to make a convincing argument in favor of it, but I probably shouldn't have thrown that part in. I just think it would be interesting, and probably a ratings-grabber. |

I haven't seen the new 90210...I am assuming you like it then? I liked the original series, at least in the early years anyway. Welcome to the board, by the way! Thanks, Actually I'm not a huge fan of that show. I gave it a chance, but none of those young people can act. They can't even convince themselves. That's why I thought something like this might breath life into the show. Hopefully some people on here have seen the new 90210 enough to at least be familiar with the characters. I didn't think about that in my first post. In any case I would like to see Melissa Gilbert on tv more. This just seemed like a good way to get her back into the mainstream. Shannen is pretty unpopular so she's used to working with people who don't like her. I think it would be more difficult for Melissa, on the other hand. |

| I agree about Melissa working more. I know she is really busy with the musical right now, but I just hope she come back to TV. My world STOPS when I see one of her movies on.
Have any of you been watching THE FORGOTTON? It comes on Tues. nights right after DWTS. I was just thinking last night how cool it would be if Melissa was a part of the group that finds the identity of those that have passed away. Christian Slater is wonderful in this too. IF you haven't watched this, try to --I believe its one of the "cleaner" shows on primetime. (I hope I don't eat those words.) It has a plot with meaning and that is rare in shows now. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart

| I think the new 90210 is NOT very good! I don't watch it...I mean having the old cast memmbers in the new 90210 still doesn't make me wanna watch it..They don't really have a good story line....Iam suprrised it's still even on the air.
Am sorry but i just don't see that happening. I don't blame melissa for her feelings she about shannen..What shannen did was wrong..something like that u never really get over and is hard to forgive and forget. |

| Yes I feel stupid for saying this would show Melissa is professional. I just thought at least this might force Shannen face Melissa again, and maybe make some of her 90210 fans aware of what she did. But I know it will never happen. And I agree the new 90210 isn't any good, except for the scenes with the old cast members.. I always felt they left the Brenda/Dylan/Kelly/Brandon storyline unresolved (what would that be called, a love square?) |
