Why must the original forum have so much problems? why? bawling

It's getting annoying... I can't get in there and i get the following stupid message:

Unable to connect to database on 'localhost' with user 'p2forum_forums'
Please check your settings in multiforums.config.inc.php! banghead

I have found that if I hold down the left button when I am clciking on the post a little longer than just a quick click, it goes to the post.....Not sure why it does this, but a quick click doesn't do it.........It doesn't work all the time, but it works most of the time.............

If you see this message, that is EXACTLY what has happened to me. It happened last night, and I can't get back into the original forum. Do you have any ideas on what I can do? I e-mailed Rhonda and told her that we are going to be getting a new computer the beginning of February. We've had other problems lately with our hard drive, plus it's about 6 years old. I'm getting that same annoying message. I guess I'll join Misti in the Twilight Zone, cut off from the rest of you. LOL!!

I'm checking in too - SO grateful for this back up forum! I've been getting that same message that Carol posted, after making a post, but usually if I hit "Refresh" it would take me back to the main page and I would just keep doing that. Today I only was able to do that once, then it just sort of froze.

It kept giving me the same page more or less the entire time I was on. Other times, when I hit post, it would take a long, long time or when I was going to other threads it would take forever.

LOL Cheryl. It was like that for me pretty much all weekend but I didn't have time to even check in here b/c I have so much to do w/ Christmas coming up and finals and all. But now tonight when I actually had some time I kept getting that error! Grr!

I got so annoyed over there, I don't even go there anymore, when are those people going to fix that virus? It's been almost 6 months now! I hate to see we lose all of our history there, but I'm beginning to like this one now, maybe Shirley can bring everything here.
