Wow! Sounds like a squirrel invasion.
I’m not sure. Probably redwing black birds. But they are very common here. Saw a prairie dog the other day on a dirt road I was driving on.

I remember a thunderstorm one afternoon when I was a kid. It got as dark as night, very windy, and the lightning became almost constant. Thought a tornado was coming for sure, but it didn't happen.
