Well. Mississippi isn't that far away. My brother is in the USAF stationed in Oklahoma. I guess he intends to make a career of it. He'll make sergeant here pretty soon.

On a side note, did your son tell you how that pic was taken? Back when I was in the army, when they took your pic in your class A uniform, it wasn't really your uniform since you only wore them for inspection during Basic training. So, they march you in in your BDU's, put a pre-made one-piece shirt, jacket and tie combo on you that zips up in the back, snap a pic, then take it off and put it on the next guy.

I'm ashamed to say I can't remember. Some AFB there obviously. He's some kind of service tech on the AWAC planes there.

He thought about going overseas for a while so, when he got back, he could be stationed at his base of choice for his career, but you have to go for like three years, and he's married with a child, and they can't go, so he'll probably be there for quite a while. Unless he's ordered overseas.

ETA: Yeah, it was ages ago for me, plus, with him being in the USAF, they may do things differently with taking pics.
