| [Note from Carol regarding Editing] Since I do the Episode Reviews, I have been given acces in the Episode Reviews forum to edit, move posts so that all posts regarding an episode stay together. If I post an episode review that has some post already started.... instead of me using the quotes feature... I will just edit the first post of whoever started the thread about that episode to include the pictures of the episodes at the top of the thread. That way, all comments and posts remain in their original form. [End of Carol's Note] "FRED" Laura is tricked into taking a "one of a kind" billy goat home with her. After Fred eats some of the Ingalls' crops, Laura is forced to get rid of the billy goat. Every person that Laura wanted to give the billy goat to resulted in a funny time. Laura finally decides to set him free in the wild. This episode is guaranteed to make you laugh! Well this is one hilarious episode! That is all I have to say.... As soon as Charles gets kicked in the behind... I started rolling. At the dinner table Mary starts laughing... the conversation goes like this: Charles: "Is there something funny?" Mary: "I'm sorry Pa, it's just that, I got to thinking about how Laura named the goat 'Friendly Fred' Charles: "I've seen more friendship when I poked a hole in a hornet's nest" ------------------------ (Chris said....) I think this is the funniest episode of little house that was ever made, For those who may not know or remember, Fred was a billy goat that Laura got for doing some work. Fred was good at destroying things and ramming people in the but when they bent over. It was funny seeing misses Olsen get hit and knocked in the mud. DOC Baker, Rev Alden, Mr Edwards, Charles all got hit. |

| "Fred" is a great episode. It's the last of its kind! Yes, it's a hilarious episode, but there's a bit of seriousness in it too. If you get the Hallmark Channel, you should be able to watch it in a month or so in the 10am or 11am time slot. They're currently showing season 1 in the morning time slots, so it won't be long before they get to season 3. | |

| My husband raised a few goats growing up and he would love to get in the yard and "wrestle" with them. They are very interesting animals....but alot like small children...you have to watch out for them. :kitty: It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. | I generally like goofy episodes, but I don't really appreciate this one. It's okay, but not a favorite. It reminds me of "The Loaded Goat" from the Andy Griffith show. - Quote :
