| I only got called once, and I was not happy either!! I just had to sit all day waiting for my number to be called. Just about the time I thought I'd get lucky and not have my number called is when they did indeed call it. So, I just had to go the court room with several other people whose number got called. The judge explained the case, and the defendant and the lawyers were there. Then they called more numbers of prospective jurors, and those people sat in the jury box and were asked to answer several questions. Some of them ended up being excused, so more numbers would be called out of the jury pool until they ended up with 14 jurors. My number was never called, so the rest of us were excused to go. It was a learning experience. Some people actually like serving as a juror, but it's not an experience that I want to have. | |

| I've done it a bunch of times, Christina. Once you get in there, it's not as scary as it sounds. You might even like it.

| Yes, once. They send a letter in mail. Like 10 or 11 years ago. Saying, I have go in do jury duty. So, my mom called them. Explain to them. I have mild cerebral palsy. I wouldn't comprehended what they'll be saying in court. So, they let me go. haven't called me or send me a letter since. I think, I could understand them. (Not all of the time.) But, when comes to see if that person is guilty or not. I'll be slow on that. I might say John Smith is not guilty. While the rest of the jurors say John Smith is guilty. | |
