| Beautiful pics Carol. I saved some of them to use in my powerpoint presentations for church. So pretty. It is still JUNEuary here, cold and wet. The kids are still in school til the end of the month, hope it gets warmer soon so they can enjoy end of year events. | |

| Yikes Rhonda! Hope you guys thaw out soon! You too Teresa....I'm sure what we have is nothing like you have, but we're in the low 20's these days, and the windchill was 7 below yesterday. That's cold enough for me! Today we're really heating up---just 1 below. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| We're supposed to be having highs around 20, but the last couple of days, the highest temperature we saw was 11. The wind is what's so cold, though! Rhonda, I sure hope you don't lose your electricity! | |

| Wow, stay warm guys! I have to report that we have been in the mid 50s here. It had been raining here and a couple a days ago the rain stopped and the following day it was so pretty! So many clouds in the sky, it felt like you could reach up and touch them. When I was driving to the store I had to pull over to the side of the road because I HAD to take a picture of it lol. Here it is: | |

| Ooohhh! I feel warm now, Carol!
There is a big storm headed this way, but I think it will stay south of us, at least I hope so. It is brrrrr cold though (21 degrees) and windy. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

| Its cold for Texas...37 right now. I think the high is 40ish. If we were to ever loose power we would have to us our gas log fireplace, but that is like lighting a match. It just doesn't put out much heat. I hope you all wherever you are stay warm and safe. This has been a LONG WINTER! It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. | We have about 25" of snow right now and it's still coming down! The trees and power lines, I hope, will not come down....I really, really don't want to lose power. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

| Thanks, Rob. Good news! The storm is moved out of the area and I can see a sunset! I'm mostly worried about the lines from our house to the telephone pole in front of our house, it looks like a huge corn dog in places. Oh, and oops , I lied. I couldn't really get further than the porch, and when I finally did we had only had 20". Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

| Well, sorry to brag, but we got up to 63 today. SUNSHINE everywhere! Tomorrow will be the same, then back to colder air by Monday. Its sure been nice to feel warmth again. Remind me in the summer not to complain, please. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. *grumble grumble" We've got just enough snow that Pedro (my neighbor) had enough so when his wife throwed him out again, he had a softer landing spot. I usually put out an old futon mattress for him, but it being winter, I had to put it in storage. Yep,it's winter now, but it's an interesting neighborhood I live in when summer comes. Nothing like a nice warm evening, sitting on the front porch, watching the neighborhood kids run down the street after the ice cream truck and knowing he speeds up just to see how fast they can run. Yep. | |

I have a friend who gets thrown out on a regular basis, and he's had a lot of luck with one of those airbags that pole vaulters use. It provides a much wider landing area than a futon. You might want to look into that. It's -6 here at the moment.
