Sunday was a gorgeous day, around 70, like Rhonda had and JUST right for me. But yesterday was pretty chilly! Today too! I have a sweatshirt on right now! Time to pull the comforter back out....I got cold last night under just a sheet and quilt.

Thanks. It's supposed to be 101 tomorrow. Here in the central valley... summer is not going down without a fight! I like the summer but by September... I'm ready to see it go lol

Thank goodness we will be seeing 80s starting next week though!

My family in LA is enjoying some 70s/80s weather right now though, they are always cooler than us in summer. It's funny though that sometime in October... the valley starts to get colder than LA. There it stays in the low 70s/high 60s and sunny. We get to the low 60s & 50s as Autumn & Winter come surrounded by fog at times making it look and feel colder. Plus the snow capped mountains in the distance also make you feel cooler.



On days like these... all you want to do is stay inside and watch movies, have soups and hot chocolate.

Carol, the mountain, is breath taking.

My weather today was in the 60's. Cloudy day. But, not too cold. Tomorrow rain. Thursday & Friday Showers. In the 70's.

It's raining here now.

I love hearing sentences that have probably never been spoken before in the history of the world, and I'm pretty sure that's one of them. I've been saying it all morning. It works best in a Humphrey Bogart/Sam Spade voice:

It's been raining for days on end here. Forecasts for where the Susquehanna River will crest in Harrisburg have steadily increased in the last two days, and the National Weather Service is now calling for the river to crest at 26.2 feet early Friday morning.

Flood stage for the river is 17 feet. At 20 feet, flooding is considered moderate, and at 23 feet, it's major.
