| Thanks Pam. I also emailed Pitt's radio station because I am interested in becoming a DJ and he told me he has to show me some things, then I have to apply for training if I pass a board test. He said they take students over alumni, but he told me to come in anyway and see what happens. So I am pretty excited. Even if it doesn't work out, at least I tried. Beckie LETS GO PENS! | |

| I'm in a good mood because I finished making a puppet yesterday for a class I am taking. I was worried it wouldn't work out and feeling a little overwhelmed, but it came out really cute and took only a little over an hour to make. It's a cat handpuppet. Tim couldn't believe that I actually made it myself. | |

| I applied for a job a couple of week's ago, as a sub at a Christian Preschool. I went for the interview and everything, then hadn't heard anything, so I assumed I hadn't gotten the job. Well, they just called and asked if I was still interested and I got the job. I'm going in next Tuesday to meet the kids and fill out some paperwork.
I am really excited, because teaching preschool is really what I want to do after I get my degree, and this will give me some good experience. I also wanted something in a regular preschool program, rather than at a daycare center, and this is what this is. So yay! I'm in a great mood!
Oh, and I have another thing! I took a test in my Philosophy class last week and our professer gave us the option of doubling our best grade, so that we wouldn't have to take the last test. This has been a tougher class for me since the reading assignments are horrendous and difficul for me to understand. I did manage to pull of a 97.5, out of a 100 points on my first test. And yesterday, I got 102. A perfect test, plus 2 extra credit points. I was so relieved! So now, I can enjoy the rest of the class, without worrying about that last test. I just have one paper to work on for that class, and that'll be it.

I'm in a good mood today too. We just got our first snow of the season. Only an inch, but the ground is covered. Woo-hoo!

| I love professors who give an option like that. At least you have the choice to do what you feel you are better at, an you still show that you understand the work. | |

| That's great news Savannah!
I am typing with a wrapped hand right now. I was wrestling with the turkey yesterday morning. I had one of those experiences with the turkey still being frozen in the middle, so I couldn't get the neck out, and all of the lovely things stuffed in the cavity of the turkey.
So, I let the cold water run over it, and gradually let it thaw. I managed to get the little baggie of "goodies" out, but the neck was still being stubborn. Most of it was loosened, so I thought, if I just give it a good yank, it will come out. So, I wrapped my hand around that neck and started to give it a good yank, then.....instant, excruciating pain shot through my hand. My husband had to come to my rescue and pull the neck out. And he mentioned that I just strained my muscles by using them after they had been in the cold, running water. Well duh, we had just talked about having to warm muscles up before physical activity, in a class I had the day before, to avoid muscle damage.
Then my husband proceeded to go in the bathroom to wash his hands, leaving me to pick up the 16 lb. turkey, with my damaged hand. Men. So, now I have a swollen hand. And while I can move my fingers, anything that causes my hand to curve, such as wrapping my hand around a potato peeler, is very painful. Oh will, to live and learn.

| Thanks Savannah. Actually it's much better now, just very moderately sore. I am NOT going to share that story with my class on Monday. Don't want to hear, "I told you so!" *LOL* | |

| Thanks, Rilla. :)
Today I'm in a good mood because we got our Christmas tree up. I love decorating the tree. We listen to Christmas music and decorate together. Well, we kind of did. Why did Devin have to turn into a teenager on me? We had to bug him to help us, lol.
