| Thanks for the prayers everyone. I had a rough weekend, was sick in bed on Thursday and Friday and didn't do much on Sat or Sun. But I'm better today. I went to work and now I'm very tired. The weather is cooler here now so hopefully the meds will help me out. Will keep in touch. | |

| {{{Marilyn}}} I'm sorry that I missed this post yesterday! I hope you start to feel better with the cooler weather pattern. Were you able to find out how to darken your computer screen some? That has helped me to be able to be online at least a little when my migraines come. . . . maybe it'll be able to help you a little, too. | |

| Thanks everyone. I have been doing much better over the last few days. The meds seem to be helping. Savannah and Carol, I did darken my screen. Thanks for the suggestion, it really helps. Love to all, | |

| Marilyn sorry to hear you've been feeling SO bad. I know the weather has ALOT to do with it. Keep your chin up and remember we are all thinking about you here on the prairie! It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| Thanks everyone for your prayers in the past when I was dealing with the migraines. I have conquered them at last. I do have another request though. Last Saturday I began having pains in my chest and over the weekend they got worse. At work they became unbearable and so I tried to get in to see my dr. He was too busy so I went to a walk in clinic on Tues. I waited for 2 hours to be seen by a very young dr for about 5 minutes. He poked and prodded about 3x and then told me that I had a viral infection. This didn't make sense to me so I had my mom call my dr again and he called back and got me in yesterday. He took my vitals and information and then found the bounderies of the pain. It is centrally located at the bottom of the breastbone and he told me that I somehow injured it. It will take 2-3 weeks to heal. I have been to work every day this week and come home exhausted and suffering much. Please pray for me as I heal. I've heard from a few friends that it might take quite a long time to heal fully. I appreciate your prayers in advance. Love to all. | |

| I'm sorry to hear about this most recent trouble, Marilyn. I will certainly pray for you. As I've told you in the past, I have gotten migraines too, ever since I hit '30', 8 years ago. They're not as often as yours, thank the Lord, but I know how incapacitating they are, believe me. I tough everything out...I never get sick (knock on wood!!), and nothing sends me to bed...I'm a very 'mind over matter' kind of person. But a migraine will do it. I HATE them. I haven't had one for a few months now, so I consider myself lucky. My older sister gets them terribly and was put on Vicadin of all things (NOT prescribed for migraines!!!) and became addicted. This was about 12 years ago now...now she's addicted to Vicadin an Darvasat. Not sure what else, but I know they're all Opiate based. And of course, she still gets migraines. It's sad. Take care Marilyn. (((HUGS))) “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Thanks Lily and Amy. The headaches are all but gone but the pain in my chest is still very sore. It has been 10 days now. God is giving me strength. | |
