Has anyone ever heard of this horrific disease? I was watching a show on TLC about it and it was so heartbreaking. This causes an abnormal growth such as in he legs or face. There was this little girl that had it in her face and another lady that had it in her legs. I felt so sad for these poor people. There are less than 200 cases and there is no cure. Here is more info and a picture of the girl that has it in her legs. This really makes one see how lucky we really are. Also they say that the Elephant Man probably had this disease and that is why his face looked like it did. Back then there was no name for the disease.

It's awful to see people suffer. We should all feel grateful for everything we have in life.

Oh my gosh Blue

When I see things like this, I can't help but feel a little vain for wanting to loose some weight and look better... No

We have so much and others have so little! We must be thankful to God for our good health. No

Cases like that are so terribly heartbreaking. And you're right - we do have a lot to be thankful for!

I could never live like that. I give them a lot of credit. God Bless them.
