When you were younger

Did you try and cheat and see what your Christmas gifts were?

Boy my sister did. She saw where our mom hid our presents, and she saw what was for her, and she wanted to see if she got this curling iron she wanted. Well, she thought if she did it enough not to really rip it, mom wouldn't know, but mom did! LOL!

She got in big trouble!

I did the shaking the presents thing and tried to figure out what they are. My grandma, who lived with us, taught us that! *LOL*

I never dared trying to find them though. I still, to this day, have no idea where my parents hid our gifts.

No Never try it my but my cousins did there parents hid them in the car trunk lol but i always new where our's were never peek

ours are in our laundary room! i never peek though cuz i think its exciting to not know what you are getting! but sometimes i ask my sister and brother and they tell! :shifty:

"What did you put in the closet today, Mommy?"

She said "Can you keep a secret?" in a conspiratorial whisper.

He said "Nope."

Yes, totally, lol. But then I felt bad about it.

I'm like Emily, even if I knew where they were I wouldn't peek.
It would make Chrstmas not as fun and exciting, it wouldn't be a suprise. Ours our kept in the closet though...:)

Actually, I never did. When I believed in Santa (we calls him "Papá Noel" here), I never passed my mind that there were my parents who puchased the gifts and hide them in some "secret place". When older they will put all the gifts under the Christmas Tree before it was time to open them (In Argentina we open the gift exactly at Midnight, after the toast)...But of course, it would make that all the children would eat too much excited and only thinking about gifts, we approached the Tree time to time, to gess what these packets were and which was for who...VERY EXCITING! :shifty:

I can remember doing the same thing! Then I'd always hear, "GO BACK TO BED!!" ,coming from my parents bedroom.

We'd wake our parents up at 4am and they would tell us to go back to bed. LOL!

When I was in 7th grade, I had a friend who told me she peeked at her gifts. I decided I would do it too since I knew Mom hid the presents under her bed. I never did it again since Christmas wasn't nearly as fun because I already knew everything I was getting.
