| After the death of my Grandfather 11 years ago, I got my Grandmother's Nativity scene, and a few Charlie Brown ornaments that they used to hang on their tree, and they had them when we were kids. I think it's really special. My Grandparents meant the world to me, and I miss them terribly, but having things like this, keeps them here!
Charlie Brown is a BIG name in my family! |

| We too...We also have lots of Christmas stuff that were from my grandparents and more that had belonged to my great-grandparents (since two of my grandparents are still alive...and even three great-grandauties are still alive too). One of my great-grandparents was a Chemic Professor and pharmaceutic, and Christmas 1930 (when it was the worldwide economical crisis) he made some good Christmas stuff we have kept and cherished since these far away days. He even made Christmas Tree balls!!!! :adore:

| I have some beautiful ornaments made out of beads, by an older couple that lived across the street from my house, when I was a child. The couple have since passed, but I still have some of the ornaments they made (my parents have some too) and I cherish the memories of these special people, each year that I hang the ornaments on my tree. They were like grandparents to me.
I also have some of my grandma's old Christmas decorations that I put out each year, and they help me feel like she is still near at Christmas. A time when I really miss her. | |
