Me, again......

Last night the right side of my face started swelling up. (It looks like someone throttled me) The doctor isn't quite sure what the problem is. He doesn't think it's a tooth....but we do know that there's a lot of infection there. My face still looks like I'm hoarding food in my mouth. So, I'm on an antibiotic, and pain meds are my newest friend.............. and I'm supposed to rest. (Ha)
I'd appreciate your prayers that the infection will quickly be taken care of. For one thing.......it hurts. batEyes

(I know, I know.......Duh) But, also...about three years ago, I had an infection around the lining of my heart, and spent three months in bed. I don't want to go down that road again! And I've already felt some pain around my heart......so, prayers that the infection won't spread would be so appreciated.

Prayers being said for you Savannah....it sounds like an infected tooth......I had that and ended up with my wisdom teeth being taken out.....no fun......Love you, and get that rest!!!

Oh my gosh Savannah. Sounds kind of scary w/ the infection in the lining of your heart... I just said a prayer ... I hope your face gets better soon. Maybe it was something you ate and it caused an allergic reaction? Take it easy the next few days... hoping the swelling goes down soon... :alright:

Thank you all!! I really appreciate the prayers. I went to work today, figuring I'd do okay......That has to be about the stupidest thing I've done in a very long time. So, I'm staying home tonight. I'm too worn out to do anything else. Guess y'all are stuck with me here. grinsmiley

Thank you again for praying! I think there's a little bit less pressure in my face tonight.

Thank you, Christina. I think the swelling has gone down some. My pain meds are still my constant companions, which I really don't like having to do. But I also don't like pain. LOL . . . So I guess I'm stuck.

Thank you. I'm doing a little bit better. I just spent a little over an hour on the phone with my niece and nephews. *contented sigh* I'm still swollen - but not as bad.
