How is your ankle today?

You remember "The Fun Girls" when Goober is doing his impression of Chester? That's about where I'm at. I had to be on my feet for quite a while yesterday, because my Dad was so sick, and Mom had quite a bad asthma attack. But today, they're both doing much better, so I'm being lazy. My ankle is elevated, and I'm probably going to be spending a lot of time on the computer today.

Oh I Feel Sorry For You Savannah I know just how you Feel I Broke My Leg once here in Canada i had a Cast on for 4 Weeks so i had to Walk on Crutches and then once they took it off I had to walk on those things for 10 Days yet then i could try to Walk again Well Tell Us how it Happen Savannah

I hope you are able to take it easier today and give that ankle a rest. I also hope that you're mom and dad are having a better day today.

Jacob........How I sprained my ankle? Well.........I'd love to have some wildly silly story to share, but what really happened is pretty boring - And I'm no good at lying. LOL!

I was loading groceries in to take over to my niece and nephews. I didn't see that ice had built up on the running board of my Mom's van, and when I stepped onto it to put two bags of groceries in, my foot slipped off and landed hard on the ground, with a twist. BUT.....I didn't break any of the eggs. :fyi:

That ice is dangerous. I've fallen twice because of some black ice... but fortunately I was able to hold on to something and I was okay...

That's great that you saved the eggs Savannah because when an egg breaks without fully completing it's purpose... it's a sad thing to see.

Ah, Carol! I didn't know any photos existed of that fabled "Dumpty Incident."

Savannah, I'm so sorry to hear you got hurt! You sure have had a lot on your plate lately. Take it easy and just know we all care about you!
