Yes very true. And they all have unique personalities. The songs picked for them go with their looks and personality.

Tomorrow is their final concert here in the States. I am so sad they are leaving us. But I am happy that they will be able to see their loved ones in Ireland again. This is so bitter sweet. I hope to see them again.

If you haven't already, please give a listen to Celtic Thunder and spread the word about them. This can be done by looking them up on youtube and going to their website www.celticthunder.ie
The reason for me spreading the word like this is because I am a Celtic Thunder Street Team member and it is my duty to let everyone know about them. Please give them a look. They deserve all the recognition they can get! Seriously, no one had taken America by storm from Ireland since Riverdance. This is by far better, imo. For more info on street teams, please go to these sites.

They are definitely worth spreading the word about. They are lucky to have such a dedicated fan in you Beckie. I've spread the word to my parents...they love their new CD!

On Thursday night our local PBS station aired a new CT concert and had a pledge drive. Well they had pairs of VIP meet and greet with CT tickets and I called right away and got a pair before they sold out! So I will get to meet at least 2 of the members after the show and sit up close to the stage! :woohooo: :woohooo: I can't believe it! I paid a pretty penny but it was well worth it!

I thought I'd put this under this thread, since I am figuring Beckie might like this group. Beckie, have you heard for the "Canadian Tenors"?? Oh my gosh, I borrowed their CD from the library and they're awesome. (I also thought you might think the blond guy is pretty cute ).
This is them singing Hallelujah. You know, we should probably have a thread devoted just to this song, we've talked about it so much on this board. But I've heard it massacred a few times----these guys are pretty wonderful....
Here they are on Oprah, and have no idea that Celine Dion is about to join them on stage:

They are really good. I would have passed out if Celine had come up behind me that way.

I have heard of them. They are pretty good. I like these kinds of groups. But what is with everyone ripping off of the original Three Tenors? lol I can't watch vids on my computer because they keep pausing ever few seconds. Does anyone know what might be wrong and why they keep doing that? It's very frustrating.

Yeah, I know what you mean---but it comes with the territory. Everyone seems to rip off everyone else in the biz.
And YES, I have had this problem too Beckie. It doesn't always happen to me (and didn't on this one) but it was doing it on my computer last week at some point and it drove me nuts!!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it!!! How awful! Not only for him and his family, but for this amazing group, who have to be so incredibly close. Singing together will never be the same again.
