| Dang woman, you spend more time at Wal-Mart than I do. My favorite thing to do? If I happen to set off the alarm thingy on the way out, I run like hell with my cart to see if the old lady people greeter can catch me. You'd be surprised how fast some of those old ladies are. | |

| I am going to try this year. The soil here is mostly rocks and we have so many wild animals in the woods that I lose a lot of what I plant. I had cleared a large area a few years ago and had a garden that year, but that's where we ended up putting the shed a year later, so I haven't had the time or desire to clear a new spot for a garden. | |

| You're making me jealous, Misti. I wish that we had a bigger yard so that we could have a garden. All I manage is some flowers and a couple of tomato plants. Thankfully, my dad plants a garden and gives us some garden fresh veggies every year. There's nothing like them! - flatbroke wrote:

| Oh, I would love to give a garden a try, but I'm not sure I have the green thumb for it. Plus, with our dogs running in the backyard, we'd have to fence it off somehow. We're thinking of getting a dog run for them though (I'm really tired of the yard getting dug up from their running), so hopefully one day I will be able to see if I can actually make a garden grow! Good luck with yours Misti and Cheryl! (my neighbor behind me does have one..he's an elderly gentleman and it covers a HUGE portion of his backyard. I wish he'd share with us sometime , but I do like watching his garden grow. ) “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Oh no! It is always so much worse the next day. A nice soak in a tub of hot water should do you some good. I think that's the only part that I don't like about gardening.
Those darn ants. I hate that creepy, crawly feeling. *shudder* And those little bitty things hurt when they bite! | |
