I'm taking this to Caleby tomorrow for his birthday. His birthday is today, but we're celebrating with him tomorrow. Ignore the messy table........That's what it looks like when I'm in the middle of decorating a cake, and getting things together to take to the children! Laughing

I can't believe Caleby is six! Anyway.....here's his cake:

Now.........Will you please pray that it makes it to him safe and sound? It took ages to make, and I'll be heartbroken if he doesn't get to see it the way it's supposed to look!

(Marilyn........did you notice in the second picture, that your card came today? :thankyou2: It kept me company while I decorated Caleb's cake.)

I do pray that it makes it there safe and sound. I'm sure it took lots of time and patience to make it look just right.

The cake made it over to Caleby safe and sound! My older brother, Aaron (bless his heart!) volunteered to drive so I could hold the cake on my lap.

Michael was the first to climb in the van when we got there. He got in, saw the truck and said "Oh COOL!! You brought a tru............OH MY WORD!! Is that a CAKE??"

Then Caleb climbed in, saw the truck and said "Oh COOL!! You brought a tru.........HOLY COW!! Is that a CAKE??"

Awww, how cute Savannah......I used to decorate cakes when I wasn't so doggone busy........I'm so glad Caleb enjoyed the cake....did he dig in, or was he afraid to mess it up? My boys never wanted to mess up the cakes I made for them...... :unsure:

One of his presents was a Thomas the Tank Engine blanket that I've been working on for AGES. Rachel saw it, and said "WHOA!! You finally finished it??" :haha:

Savannah, do you do wedding cakes? That cake is amazing! I'm sure Caleb and his siblings loved it. There's nothing like getting a special cake to make your special day that much better!
