How ya'll doin this fine evening?
I just came from walking my dog for a couple of blocks.... lots of kids hanging out at the park this afternoon.... My mom and dad are outside watering the lawn and talking.... the neighbors are also sitting outside and have some soft music playing which I can hear from the room I'm at. I love Saturdays :idance:

That sounds like a very pleasant afternoon, Carol!
Things are quiet here - it's almost bedtime. My window is open slightly, and it's gently raining outside. There's a soft breeze blowing, bringing in the smell of spring rain.........and in the distance, I can hear a dog barking. (He probably is complaining to his person about being stuck out in the rain)
It was a good day, here, too.

The night is young as a baby here Pam lol (8:20PM). I was supposed to go to the drive-in tonight but a couple of the people that were supposed to go (we were about 10) did not make it back in time from a meeting.... so next weekend it is...
I miss the drive-in that was 10 minutes away from my house ... we now have to drive about 30 minutes to get to one....
Here is a drive-in footage from youtube
*Oh Savannah, you are in the PERFECT place!!! I love feeling the light breeze and smelling the rain and hearing it by the window... aaahhh..... lovely.....

It's late here, 1:32 a.m., I hear the fish tank gurgling in the background and the tv on. Everyone is asleep and I'm up all by myself...

I wish there were still drive-in's around here, Carol. I haven't been to one since I was a kid. My kids have never been to one.

I went to a drive-in, too, when I was on a camping trip. It was a neat experience.

My Saturday seemed like it flew by! I did a little shopping and then went out to dinner with my parents. After Mike got out of work, we just hung around and watched TV, we were both kinda tired. But I enjoy days like that, just relaxing and not having to do anything if you don't want to! LOL. Why is it that weekends fly by but the weekdays, they take their sweet time?

I hope you get to go to one one day Jacob. It's really laid back and fun. One of my memories at the drive-in was my brother, my cousin and me sitting on lounge chairs eating this really good chinese food we had taken there. The owners of the theater had some peacocks, lol, who they would let wonder around the place... that night, a couple of them were sort of close to us so it was really neat watching them lol.
This video gives you an idea of how fun it can be.
