The Wilder farm was closed yesterday so that Dean could finish filming the remaining footage for his documentary, Almanzo Wilder: Life before Laura.

Dean is at the Wilder farm today signing autographs. One of the Divas is lucky enough to be there, so I hope she brings us some good news and best wishes from our main man.

That is really neat! I'm going to try to watch that when it comes out. Do you know when it is supposed to come out?

It's only available on DVD through the Almanzo & Laura Ingalls Wilder Association. You can pre-order it by going to their website at http://www.almanzowilderfarm.com/index.htm

Do you think that DVD would be available in Walnut Grove in that Gift Shop there? then i would just buy it there in the Summer

No, it's only available at the Wilder Homestead... at least for now anyway.

Awesome! I think it's really neat that Dean is so involved in this project, that he's researching so much about the real-life character he played. I think the documentary will be great
