Hey guys, thanks for worrying about me. :shy:
Been busy lately with work and other things that came up, but it looks like I will finally have some "me" time.

The weather here is HOT. We have had a heat wave and today it's supposed to get to 112 degrees.
The air quality is also bad. It's a combination of hot air, pesticides and smoke from the fires.

Where I live, I don't see ashes, but we do smell smoke. We're being advised to stay indoors and not go out too much. The other day it was supposed to be sunny but because of the smoke covering, it looked cloudy, but it was hot. Yesterday when I was driving to work, the air was bad that I had to drive with my hand covering my mouth for a little while....

The good news is that next week we will be back to our normal temperatures of 94 degrees which is considered cool compared to 112! Also, the air quality today is better than yesterday and I hope it can continue improving.

I'm Glad you're ok i hope you meant you had some time for us when you said me time lol

We've had a very mild summer here. It hasn't been too hot and we haven't had a whole bunch of rain. I don't really like extreme heat, so it has been nice not having to run the central air too much.

I'm glad you are ok Carol. Very scarey! We have had above average rain fall all year.

I'm happy to hear everything is good, but I feel for you and your lack of air quality. That's something that most of us just take for granted, and I can't imagine how awful it must be. I hope things get better there quickly, Carol!

Kathy, although we've had quite a bit of rain/storms, the summer really has been NICE so far here. We've had some humid days here and there, but I haven't had to run the AC that much either. It's been beautiful lately!

My cousin who lives in San Francisco also says the same thing lol
The weather there is a lot cooler than here in the central valley where I'm at. Her highs this coming week are between 65 and 67 degrees. My highs are between 97 and 101 :sad5:
