| The Perseid meteor shower is underway. Forecasters say the best time to look is during the dark hours before dawn on Tuesday morning, August 12th. The glaring moon sets around 2:00 a.m., and that's when the Perseids will come out in numbers as high as 60 per hour. Metor Shower |

| My kids want me to take them somewhere dark to see it. Gee, can't wait to be out at 2:00 a.m. or later(earlier)? Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

| I forgot about this. I was planning to tell my hubby. It probably wouldn't have mattered though cause being near the beach we are usually overcast and wouldn't see a thing. Right now I have hubby and the boys very into looking at the stars and stuff. We saw something the other night. Hubby figured it was a satelite. Kids and I joked that it was a UFO and really since we have no clue what it was for sure it is. |
