At it again - Dreamworld Empty
PostSubject: At it again - Dreamworld   At it again - Dreamworld EmptySun Oct 26, 2008 1:03 pm

Whenever I have a fever, I always have the strangest dreams. Well, this time was no different.

Last night, I dreamed that I was at a yard sale, and there was a really, really cute pair of shoes - brand new, with the tags still on them - at the sale. They were my size, and only a dollar, so, of course I bought them. Then, this woman came up to me, and gave me the sad face -----> Blue and said "Oh no! I was just coming back to buy those! They're the only pair like them in the whole world! And I'm too late." Then she offered to trade me her semi truck for the shoes. Misti was with me and she said "GO FOR IT!" So, I traded. After the lady had happily walked away with her new shoes, I asked Misti if she knew how to drive a semi truck. Neither of us did. I said "Well, how hard can it be? You turn the key, it turns on. You push a few buttons and levers, and it moves." Misti said "Sounds good to me! I'm in!" So we climbed into the semi, and started down the road. After we'd driven just a little ways, we saw Susie by the side of the road, with a little dog. We stopped, and offered her a ride. But I warned her "Susie, you might not want to come along. I really don't know how to drive this thing. I'm just guessing." Susie said "Oh, like I care. I'm comin'! Can I buckle up my dog?" ( Apparently, my driving might have given her at least a little cause for concern. :Hahaha: ) After a while, it started to get dark, and I realized that I didn't know how to turn on the headlights, so I started to drive more slowly. THEN I came to a place where I had to turn right, and I started to panic a little, because I knew I'd need a lot of space to do that. As I was turning, I noticed that my Caleby and Michael were crossing the intersection, so I stopped the semi. (Yes, mid-intersection) I let them climb in, had them buckle up, and was going to pull away. Then, I heard my Pastor calling my name. (It just gets weirder and weirder) I waited for him to come over, and he looked very serious. He asked "Do you have a license to drive this?" I answered "Well, of course not. I just got it today in trade for a cute pair of shoes. I don't even know how to drive it yet." He started to get upset, and told me that it was too dangerous - and before I could reply, Caleby piped up from the back "You better not yell at her, 'cause I love her!" (He really said that to someone when he was four. grinsmiley My subconscious must have remembered) Then, I looked in my purse, and said "Oh! Lookie here! I DO have a license to drive this thing!" Then I woke up. Laughing

So, Misti and Susie, thanks for the fun last night. I enjoyed the road trip - and I'm glad that I didn't maim or kill you with my driving. ROTFL

You should've had Larry in the dream. He could drive a semi.

Next time I'll try to pick up you and Caesar, too. (Don't listen to Rob. He's hinting that I'm a bad driver - but I didn't tip the semi over or anything, so it couldn't be THAT bad. batEyes )
