| To all who can, get out there exercise your right! Ahem, you can all see who I'll be voting for today. Unfortunately I'm going to have to be out there with the "after 5pm" people. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| I went to vote at 9:00. I was in and out in about 3 minutes. My husband went at 7:45 and only had to wait 15 minutes. Hopefully you won't have to wait very long, Amy. It's amazing to me when they talk about people waiting 2-4 hours in line. Obviously there need to be more precincts in those areas. | |

| Just voted about half an hour ago. I was number 961--which is probably more voters than the last 3 town elections. LOL! It was much busier than I've seen in a long time, but there was no one holding signs at our location. | |

| I just got back from voting. It wasn't too busy when I went, but apparantly from the time the polls opened until around 9:30 a.m., it was a mad house. I'm sure it will be very croweded again once everyone gets off work. It's nice to see such a good turn out! | |

| I just voted and it only took 5 minutes! They said that between 7am and 1pm it was a mad-house though. I'm glad I packed up the kids and did it! And there were a couple of teens volunteering at our precinct, Emilyanne, who said they wished they could vote too! This is my son's first election year...I have YET to learn who he's voting for!! As of Friday he still hadn't decided! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| It was really fun to go vote today! There were people all over town- up and down the side walks! We don't ever see that many people out and about! | |

| I forgot to mention. . . . There was a man, just off the property of the polling site, trying to get people to vote for a specific candidate. Going up to people as they came out of their cars, etc. . . . . Quite obnoxious, if you ask me. | |

You should've told him, "Oh, I thought this was the poling place."

Oh those pushy ones...I had one of those came up to me during the last election, and I said to him: "Mister, you better get out of my way, or it WILL be ugly!" :laser: My older daughter went inside the booth with my Mom, and my little one came inside with me. After we voted, as we were walking out, my little one with her head held up high: "I helped my mommy voted today!" "Within the heart of every stray, lies the singular desire to be loved."

After we voted, as we were walking out, my little one with her head held up high: "I helped my mommy voted today!" That's awesome, Lily! I always used to take at least one of my niece and nephews with me to vote - and my Mom and Dad did the same thing. I think it gives them a solid foundation for being a voter when they grow up.
